“Did online check-in and waited for digital key as I always do. Check-in time came and went and several hours later app still said that the room was being prepared. Had to go to the front desk only to be told that the room was ready. Not a big deal… But frustrating. Woke up at 6 AM to loud hallway music playing, open the door to find a speaker right above room 112 where we were staying. I’ve never been in a hotel where the hallway music was playing let alone loud enough to wake people up. Went……

“The Inn is older in the style I remember from summers at the shore. The room was clean, updated and well maintained. Everything was great. The reason I rated 4 out of 5 was because access is to the room is outside. OK for a summer visit when it is light out later in evening. In the dark and stormy dead of winter I would have had issues getting to the second floor.”

“At first glance we were impressed by the room but that changed the more time we spent in the room. The room hadn’t been really dusted or vacuumed in a while. The vents were coated in heavy layers of dust as well. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty, the two TVs had no remote controls and the creamer in the coffee station were spoiled since they expired 6 months ago.”

“The room and grounds appear clean. The room is pet friendly and upon entering the room there was dog poop under one of the beds. The cracks of the couch and chair had food crumbs and that tells me they aren’t very extensive with the cleaning. Although it had a “full sized” kitchen, the stove wan not functional and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Power surges caused the breaker to have to be reset multiple times in a three day period. The floors and especially the hand rails of the……
